Your privacy, in plain English

Mountaineer Deals only uses your information to run your membership. That's it — nothing gets sold, rented, or shared outside this system.

What we keep, and why:

• Your name and email — to run your account and send membership emails (welcome, receipts, password resets).
• Your phone number, if you give us one — it's optional, and it's only ever used to send you deal alerts by text, and only once that's a feature you've opted into. No calls, no other texts.
• Your payments go straight to Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.
• Redemption history — so we can show you your savings and keep deals honest.

What we don't do:

• We don't sell or share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else outside Mountaineer Deals.
• We don't use third-party trackers or ad pixels on this site.
• We don't email or text you anything you haven't opted into, beyond what's needed to run your account.

Your choices:

• Deal-alert emails and appearing in the community feed/leaderboard are both toggles on your profile — turn them on or off any time.
• Want your data removed? Email us and we'll take care of it.
